One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is partnering with clients to create gifts that tell a story.
Recently, I had the privilege of working with a wonderful client to design a custom keepsake lumbar pillow.
Once the vision was finalized, I brought the design to life using Embrilliance embroidery software, allowing me to carefully arrange every element and ensure the finished piece reflected exactly what the client envisioned. Seeing a client's excitement as their ideas begin to take shape is one of my favorite parts of the creative process.
The embroidery was stitched on my Happy Japan HCD3 embroidery machine using its largest embroidery hoop, allowing the design to be completed beautifully and efficiently. From there, I carefully constructed the pillow using my Baby Lock Chorus sewing machine and professionally finished the seams with my Baby Lock Acclaim serger.
Handmade gifts carry a special kind of meaning. They aren't pulled from a store shelf or selected from a catalog. They are thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted, and created with a specific person or family in mind.
Projects like this remind me why I love creating custom keepsakes. Every stitch represents a memory. Every detail tells a story. And every finished piece becomes a lasting reminder of the people and moments that matter most.
